HI-DEFINITION MC
Charlotte, NC
Founded in July 2005, Hi-Definition Motorcycle Club, based in Charlotte NC and open to female motorcycle riders, was established to promote motorcycle awareness, safety, community service and the spirit of sisterhood in all its forms. They are a community service-focused organization and strive to assist charities that are cultivating a positive future for our youth.
Members of Hi-Definition believe that community service and support is a huge part of Defining Excellence. One of their favorite charities includes Another Choice Adoption Agency, a Charlotte-based adoption agency that works to find homes for African-American children and other children; the majority of which are between the ages of six and seventeen. The Ladies of Hi-Definition donate school supplies each school year and host a toy drive for the kids during the Holidays.
Another favorite for these ladies committed to giving back to the community in which they live, is Habitat for Humanity. While the adoption agency is a true favorite, fixing up homes for those in need ranks high on the list for these ladies as well. They regularly volunteer to paint and complete other projects for the organization and hope to involve other motorcycle clubs in their efforts in the future. Other charitable events supported by Hi-Definition are JDRF walk, Toys for Tots, Sisters with Vision and the Ricky Hendrick Charity Ride. In addition to their joint efforts, many of the members also contribute to other charitable organizations individually, either through their profession or of their own accord.
In keeping with the spirit of sisterhood, all the Ladies of Hi-Definition agree that being a member of an all female club allows them the opportunity to be themselves and talk freely amongst one another. The relaxed atmosphere and ability to make their own decisions and choose the direction of their club provides them all with a sense of empowerment. It is their hope that their actions and camaraderie allow them to be role models for other ladies looking to join the motorcycle community. One way to definitely do that is by ensuring all members of Hi-Definition own and actually ride their bikes. Additionally, they like to show others that women can be in a group and work together without being catty. They support one another, especially the newer riders, by guiding them and applying patience when riding. Choosing to be less aggressive on the road than others normally would is important to them because they want their crew to always be safe and comfortable when riding.

Always interested in maintaining a positive image, the members of Hi-Definition are definitely
Ladies DefiningExcellence.
