J-Ville Riders
Jacksonville, FL

Spotlight of the Month

In a day when motorcycle clubs come and go, few make it to a 10-year anniversary like the members of J-Ville Riders MC. One reason President and Founder, Wayne, thinks J-Ville Riders MC has lasted so long is the character of its members. Most come from a military background and understand protocol and structure, both of which are a must in any organization. While all members are leaders in their own right in their careers and home life, it is their strong views and embrace of leadership within the club that keeps them together. They understand that you have to follow before you can lead. Additionally, J-Ville Riders know that you get out of things what you put into it. Many members have been promoted through the club’s ranks over the years based on their service to the club and the community.

J-Ville Riders support many charities and organizations within the Jacksonville area, including the efforts of other local motorcycle clubs. Their favorite charities include foundations related to sickle cell anemia and cancer research, as well as Toys 4 Tots, the Salvation Army and Goodwill. Like most clubs, J-Ville Riders adopt families during the holidays and try to make a wonderful Christmas for some who otherwise would not have one. Members of J-Ville Riders also support an annual ride against violence sponsored by the Jacksonville chapter of MAAD DADS, Inc.

The “club is a priority, not an option”, says Wayne as he describes being a member of J-Ville Riders as a labor of love. His ultimate goal when helping to start the club was to bring people together and have a good time. He shares the common passion of riding with his J-Ville Riders family and that, he says, is what the club is all about - a family oriented riding motorcycle club.
