Men of honor. Men of integrity.
Men of distinction.
Meet the men of Brothaz United SBC, Inc., a group 30 members strong who pride themselves on maintaining dignity and self-respect at all times. Brothaz United SBC, Inc., was established in the Southern region of New Jersey in March 2004. Brothaz United SBC, Inc., is a Sport Bike Club whose main objective is to unite men who share a common passion for the sport of motorcycling (sport bikes in particular). With the negative images and stereotypes associated with motorcycle clubs, Brothaz United SBC, Inc., focuses on reversing these negative perceptions by representing themselves as proud, cultured, dignified, educated men of standard. Brothaz United SBC, Inc.'s, goal is to be a positive force within the biking and local communities through community service and supporting other positive bike clubs. The principles, which binds Brothaz United SBC, Inc., together is: unity, pride and strength.
One way that Brothaz United SBC, Inc. works to restore the images of men in the motorcycle community is by always treating women with respect. As they attend various functions around the country, they always greet the ladies with respect and treat them as they would their mothers, wives, sisters and daughters. In fact, their 2009 anniversary party will pay tribute to the ladies and show that females are indeed valued and respected within the motorcycle community.
Additionally, Brothaz United SBC, Inc. also supports the community where they live and work by giving of their time and money to various causes. Some of the organizations they support include Adopt-a-Highway, Foster Child Backpack Initiative, Voter Registration Drives, Bikers Against Breast Cancer, MC Red Ribbon Foundation and MC Foundation Fallen Rider Fund. The Red Ribbon Foundation raises money to assist individuals living with HIV/AIDS and the Fallen Rider Fund offers the families of fallen riders up to $2,500 towards funeral costs and other items during their time of need.
Also, during the months of September and October, Brothaz United SBC, Inc. sponsored an essay contest aimed at the children (ages 10 thru 20) of parents(s) who are active members of the motorcycle community. They posed 3 open-ended questions that related to the upcoming presidential election and the best responses from each age group (10-13, 14-17, 18-20) were awarded a DELL laptop purchased by Brothaz United SBC, Inc.
They did this not only to challenge our children’s imagination while focusing them on this historical election, but also, to assist the parents of the motorcycle community who devote much of their time helping others and their children. The members of Brothaz United SBC, Inc. were extremely proud to be involved in this endeavor and met some wonderful and talented children along the way.
