FAME Riders is comprised of a diverse group of riders with diverse riding experience and riding styles. Each member brings his or her own unique personality to the club. The club wants riders who join and are ready to ride. They want people who take it to the track, stunt, love hitting curves, and who just love the open road.

FAME Riders MC was founded in Cincinnati, Ohio in August of 2003 by Mark “Brk A Way” Frey, Taylor “T-Nice” Packer, Kimberly “Ms. Fame” Teart, Angela “Divva” Stanley, David “Zion” Pitts, and Keith Eakins, who is now retired from the organization. The club grew quickly and after four (4) years in existence, there are 34 members in the mother chapter and there are also chapters located in Indianapolis, Indiana and Nashville, Tennessee.

FAME Riders MC is known for being much more than a motorcycle club. The club is known for being a true family. The club is co-ed and is made up of working professionals. The ages of members range from 21 years young up to 46. Because there is such diversity in the club there are also, of course, diverse weapons of choice. The club is made up of members who ride sportbikes, cruisers, and there is even a member who enjoys riding in luxury on a Goldwing. All members are enthusiastic riders who enjoy riding, socializing, and adding miles to their bikes. FAME Riders get together regularly for family fun and they travel to other cities to show their support for other clubs and their events.

Sadly, one reason that FAME Riders is such a close-knit group is because they have endured tragedy as a club in the past. In 2004, two members of the club died from heart-related illness. As if that weren’t enough, the following year, the club lost another member, again to heart-related illness. All three members who passed on were under the age of 40. After these incidents occurred, FAME felt a responsibility to bring heightened awareness of the threat of heart disease to the general public. They organized an annual health fair and memorial ride to honor their members’ memories. Proceeds from the memorial ride are always donated to the American Heart Association.

This past October, the club also participated in a local scooter/motorcycle ride that was put together by an organization called “CeaseFire Cincinnati”. CeaseFire Cincinnati is a non-profit organization that responds to gun violence in the community by staging marches at various shooting sites. Several Cincinnati motorcycle clubs participated in the ride and FAME plans on being more involved with the organization in coming years.

When asked, “What is your vision for the future of your club?” Founder David “Zion” Pitts responded, “Growth and longevity. We all have children who are growing up watching what we do, in terms of riding and giving back to the community. Our children see each other regularly through our FAME family events as well as other motorcycle family events. They are really excited about being a part of the group some day. Some of us are already grooming our children to be the future of our organization. I’m excited about it and I pray I live long enough to see the club passed on to the next generation of riders.”
