Hot Weekend
The first annual NC Hot Car & Bike Weekend was a definite success and a peek into what’s to come in future years. With over 30 celebrity cars & bikes on showcase, Brian Dawson and Chase Media presented an event unlike any other in the NC Triangle area. 
Saturday’s Celebrity Car & Bike Show was highlighted by an autograph signing and performances by DTP’s hottest artist, Ludacris, and his protégé, Smallworld, who is a NC native. People lined up for an extensive period to catch a glimpse of the DTP stars and take a few snapshots with the artists. Saturday’s event also showcased several vendors and other local talent including a drumline, fashion and hair show.
Despite the hot weather and spotty rain, Sunday’s track event in Roxboro drew a big crowd and lots of tailgating. Cars and bikes were on display again at the track and some even braved the weather for a few test & tune runs. This year was a great start to what is sure to become an annual event with increasing attendance each year.
Tremendous thanks to the host clubs for all of their support and promotional efforts for the event: Gettin Ugly Riders MC, Grown & Sexy Ryderz MC/SC, H.O.T.T. MC, Sistahs by Choice MC and Street Dreamz MC. Extra special thanks from Urban Burnout to GSXR MC/SC for the eats and H.O.T.T. MC for the treats. We appreciate all of your help with UB’s booth throughout the weekend and for taking ownership of what needed to be done in our absence with our flyers and mailing list sign-ups! We are grateful for all the support we have received from you and the other clubs.
Much love and respect also goes out to Cycledelix Ryders from Atlanta, for putting on an awesome stunt performance on Sunday despite dealing with the painful news of a loved one’s death the night before.
