Spotlight of the Month
Mission/Purpose:
The Bloc Burnaz M/C is a male motorcycle club out of Atlanta GA founded
by Capone and Gotti in 2005. The VA Chapter was introduced to the scene
in April 2009 and located in Fredericksburg, Va. The Bloc Burnaz M/C was
established to invoke self-empowerment through education, goodwill,
charity, social networking and camaraderie.
They motivate the public to increase community involvement through
charity, provide the tools to create wisdom and understanding through
education, and socially encourage brotherly love. The Bloc Burnaz M/C
represents a voice in the community that promotes the five (5) tenants
under which the club was founded: family, brotherly love, loyalty,
honesty, and respect.

Bragg Hill Community Coalition Member
The mission of the Bragg Hill Community Coalition is to provide
assistance to citizens of the Fredericksburg area, with special emphasis
on the total growth and development of the community's "at risk youth,"
economically underprivileged, and re-integration efforts for legal
offenders by serving as an outreach organization for the community and
referral source for individuals needing assistance from local agencies.
Bragg Hill Technology Initiative
Bloc Burnaz M/C donated over $60,000 worth of desktop systems, audio
visual, and multi media equipment to Bragg Hill Family Life Center to
aide them in their quest to provide education to the youth and
underprivileged.
Environmental Education (adopt-a-highway)
The goal of environmental education at Bloc Burnaz M/C is to enhance the
understanding of local youth in the areas of environmental awareness,
respect, and safety. The Bloc Burnaz M/C in cooperation with VDOT has
started a new environmental education program called “Greener is Cleaner
which is aimed to instill conservation, awareness, respect, and
engagement awareness through the adopt-a-highway program. Awareness of
environmental and community issues, and instill a respect for nature in
our youth. The Bloc Burnaz M/C-VA Chapter sponsors the Highway 17
corridor in Stafford/Fredericksburg VA.
Rappahannock United Way (LIVE UNITED)
They were informed that a single mother of 6 had recently been laid off
from her job of 15 years and was struggling to provide the necessary
essentials for her family. Bloc Burnaz M/C collected and donated
clothes, food, and gift cards to a needy family of 7 living in
Woodbridge, VA thus earning them the Live United Award from United Way.
Bragg Hill Community Coalition Youth Forum
Germanna Community College hosted the first Bragg Hill Community Coalition Youth Forum at the Fredericksburg, Virginia. “Choices” was the theme of the day, showing the youth the positive and negative effects of the decisions they make in regards to drugs, alcohol and gangs. Sessions included Gang Awareness, Safe Driving, Teen Pregnancy, and Financial Literacy. Over 150 area youth attended the forum. Bloc Burnaz M/C served as mentors and chaperons to assist the youth in navigating through the college for the breakout sessions.
Talking Turkey
Nov 2009 - This initiative provided Turkey dinners to disadvantaged families in the Stafford and Fredericksburg. They received a list of 50 names from the S.E.R.V.E and in return provided each family with a 15 lb. turkey, dressing, macaroni, rice, various can goods, cranberry sauce, and rolls.
The Computer Challenge
Feb 2010 - The Bloc Burnaz M/C in coordination with the US Armed Forces has teamed together in an effort to provide up-to-date computers to local libraries, day care centers, churches, community centers and elementary schools with dilapidated computer systems. They understand that computers are the gateway to the future and our goal is to ensure that these organizations have adequate technology to educate our children and increase their learning potential. They have donated (5) computers to the Bennett Career Institute in Washington D.C., and the (3) computers to Little Smiling Faces Day Care Center, Upper Marlboro MD.
Rappahannock Council on Domestic Violence (RCDV)
The Bloc Burnaz M/C has collected and donated clothing and shoes to women and children displaced by domestic abuse. Additional proceeds from their Sep 2010 Anniversary Weekend Charity Ride will be donated to the RCDV.
Santa Visit(2010)
This program provides displaced children in the Fredericksburg and surrounding area with gifts, treats, and a picture with Santa Clause during the holiday season. Each child receives a chosen gift, 1 book, 1 stuffed toy, hats and/or gloves and toothbrushes and toothpaste. The Santa Visit event provides the children and parents with gifts during the holiday.
Technology for Teens(2010)
This program challenges and rewards our future leaders of tomorrow. We challenge young adults from K6-K12 in Fredericksburg City and Stafford County Schools to write an essay on what it means to be a community leader. The winning essay in each grade receives either a laptop or desktop courtesy of the Bloc Burnaz M/C to assist in their journey to become our leaders of tomorrow.
